Acknowledgment
Reparative Yoga practice honors the ancestral roots of yoga, which originated on the traditional lands of the Indus Valley and the broader regions of South Asia, home to diverse Indigenous communities, sages, and practitioners who developed and preserved these teachings for thousands of years. Despite colonization, land loss, and cultural suppression under British rule, these practices endured through the resilience of those who safeguarded their wisdom. Recognizing this history, Jacquelyne is committed to respecting yoga’s origins while using her practice to support healing and justice.
Through her partnership with Giving Reparations, she helps distribute resources to communities impacted by colonization, slavery, and systemic harm. These efforts support reparative justice across the world, ensuring that those whose histories have been shaped by exploitation receive the recognition and support they are owed. By practicing with awareness, we can honor these histories and contribute to collective healing.

No, I am a certified yoga therapist, not a licensed mental health therapist. While yoga therapy and mindfulness can complement mental health care, they are not a substitute for professional therapy. If you need clinical support, I encourage working with a licensed provider alongside holistic practices.

Breathwork (pranayama), yoga, and mindfulness each support well-being in different ways. Breathwork helps regulate energy and emotions, yoga strengthens physical and mental resilience, and mindfulness cultivates presence and clarity. Together, these practices create a foundation for healing and inner stability.
